GENEALOGY RESEARCH

The Sarah Steward Chapter of the DAR and the library staff have collected and organized many sources pertaining to local history. Genealogists are welcome to spend time searching this extensive collection. A photocopier is available for public use. Any long-distance requests for genealogy information should be accompanied by:
  • Mailing address
  • E-mail address
  • Daytime telephone number
  • SPECIFIC information requested
The library staff will do "simple" searching AS TIME ALLOWS. Any requests that will require extensive research will be passed on to local genealogists and may then require a fee set by that person.
